Role Summary / Responsibilities
- Develop and apply pharmacometric and mechanistic QSP models to support translational and clinical drug development.
- Conduct quantitative analyses as appropriate: population PK/PD modeling, exposure-response modeling, disease progression modeling, model-based meta-analysis, systems pharmacology/mechanistic modeling.
- Integrate diverse data sources (preclinical, clinical, literature, biomarkers) for model development and validation.
- Integrate AI into data workflows and analytics.
- Contribute to the development and execution of MIDD strategies; support decisions on dose/regimen selection, study design/optimization, go/no-go decisions, and opportunities to improve understanding of efficacy, safety, and disease biology.
- Collaborate with clinical pharmacology, statistics, clinical/translational/biology teams; communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support scientific strategy/innovation; prepare technical reports and regulatory documentation; author/contribute to publications and presentations; mentor junior scientists.

Basic Qualifications
- 0–3+ years post-PhD (or equivalent, e.g., PharmD/MD) in pharmacometrics/PK/PD/systems pharmacology; applied math/engineering/physics/statistics; computational/mathematical biology or related.
- Demonstrated experience in quantitative modeling and simulation for biological or clinical systems.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Postdoctoral experience.
- Metabolic disease experience (e.g., obesity, type 2 diabetes).
- MIDD experience in pharma/biotech.
- Skills/tools: NONMEM/Monolix; R/Julia/MATLAB/Python; knowledge of drug development (preclinical to clinical); interest in biology/pathophysiology; strong communication.
