Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply pharmacometric and/or mechanistic QSP models for translational and clinical drug development.
- Perform quantitative analyses: population PK/PD modeling; exposure-response modeling; disease progression modeling; model-based meta-analysis; systems/mechanistic modeling.
- Integrate diverse data sources (preclinical, clinical, literature, biomarkers) for model development and validation.
- Contribute to MIDD strategy execution; inform dose/regimen selection, study design/optimization, and go/no-go decisions; identify opportunities to improve understanding of efficacy, safety, and disease biology.
- Collaborate across clinical pharmacology, statistics, clinical, translational, and biology teams; communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advance scientific strategy and methodological innovation; prepare technical/regulatory materials; author/contribute to publications; mentor junior scientists.

Basic Qualifications:
- 0–3+ years post-Ph.D. (or equivalent Pharm.D./M.D.) in pharmacometrics/PK/PD/systems pharmacology, applied math/engineering/physics/statistics, computational/mathematical biology or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in quantitative modeling/simulation for biological or clinical systems.
- Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Postdoctoral experience.
- Metabolic disease experience (e.g., obesity, type 2 diabetes).
- MIDD experience in pharma/biotech.
- Expertise with NONMEM/Monolix (or similar); R/Julia/MATLAB/Python (or equivalent); knowledge of drug development processes; interest in biology/pathophysiology; strong communication.

Benefits (explicitly stated):
- Hybrid work location; base salary range $106,000–$176,600; eligible for performance bonus (15% target) and share-based long-term incentive; comprehensive benefits including 401(k) match, paid time off/leave, and medical/dental/vision.
