Responsibilities:
- Conceive and execute statistical and mathematical models to achieve Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics goals.
- Propose and implement PK/PD modeling and simulation ideas.
- Investigate, develop, and optimize PK/PD modeling methods and techniques.
- Serve as a lead pharmacometrician; critically evaluate Pharmacometric/PK/PD/Clinical Pharmacology/regulatory advances and integrate into Clinical Pharmacology strategy.
- Support Phase 1β4 studies with data analysis, modeling, and simulation to guide study design and clinical pharmacology strategy.
- Author regulatory and scientific documents (analysis plans, study reports, population PK, exposure-response analyses, CTDs, white papers).
- Conduct data analyses (non-compartmental analyses, modeling/simulation, advanced analytics, literature data analyses).
- Participate and present in cross-functional forums (Clin Pharm meetings, Journal club).
- Collaborate with other Clinical Pharmacology groups to provide aligned positions to clinical, CMC, and regulatory teams.
- Author scientific publications and present at scientific conferences.
Qualifications:
- PhD (0 years) or Masterβs (typically 7+ years) or Bachelorβs (typically 10+ years) in a relevant field (data science, mathematics, biostatistics, modeling/simulation, Pharmacometrics, or systems pharmacology).
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work in teams and interact internally/externally.
- Scientific acumen and technical skills.
- Leadership competencies: persistence/resilience; learning from mistakes; delivering business results; original thinking; influence cross-functional alignment.
