Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Execute and interpret in vivo experiments with reliability, independence, and scientific rigor.
- Perform and support in vivo pharmacology studies (primarily rodent models).
- Conduct rodent surgical procedures (including kidney surgeries such as renal pelvis injection) and apply kidney anatomy to study planning, surgical execution, tissue collection, and data interpretation.
- Perform core in vivo procedures: animal handling; dosing via multiple routes of administration (ROAs); blood/fluid collection; perfusion, necropsy, tissue dissection, and processing.
- Contribute to experimental planning and study prioritization; perform basic statistics as appropriate.
- Troubleshoot experiments, refine methods, prepare protocols/procedures and written study reports.
- Stay current on scientific literature and present results internally; work collaboratively; perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge And Skills (Required/Preferred):
- Strong hands-on in vivo pharmacology experience with demonstrated success in rodent studies.
- Proven technical expertise in rodent kidney surgery (renal pelvis injection preferred/expected).
- Strong understanding of kidney anatomy; experience with animal handling, multi-ROA dosing, perfusion, fluid collection, and tissue processing.
- Large animal in vivo and/or surgical experience is a plus.
- Analytical/problem-solving skills, consistent data quality, and effective written/verbal communication; teamwork/can-do attitude.

Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a biological science required.
