Responsibilities:
- Deliver on corporate objectives specific to territory.
- With RBD and internal business partner input, develop, evolve, and execute territory and account-level business plans.
- Provide timely recommendations to eliminate/minimize barriers to progress (marketplace trends, opportunities/threats, competitive information, etc.).
- Leverage internal expertise to maximize field impact.
- Partner with Regional Business Directors, Channel/Trade & Market Access Teams, and Sales Representatives to develop territory-specific strategies to ensure patient access to Xeris products.
- Manage territory budget and resource allocations to maximize ROI.
- Represent Xeris to internal/external customers and patients through value- and solution-focused interactions.
- Collaborate with peers, marketing, and training personnel to share information and implement initiatives/strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers; manage regular communications and sales efforts.
- Professionally and ethically represent Xeris to external customers and foster respect by advancing patient care and outcomes.
- Represent Xeris internally and foster professionalism within/beyond the region.
- Take responsibility for ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree in Health Sciences, Business/Marketing, or related field.
- Sales level determined by experience:
- 2+ years in field commercial roles (sales representative, hospital representative, sales trainer, marketing).
- 5+ years in bioscience commercial roles (sales representative, hospital representative, sales training, marketing, regional account manager).
- Valid US State-issued driverβs license.
- Recent experience in bioscience and/or diabetes (highly desirable).
- Ability to create/execute business plans; adjust as needed to meet goals.
- Proficient with key data/metrics to improve performance.
- Thrives in ambiguity; adapts quickly.
- Competencies: self-directed, organizational, verbal/written communication, time management, presentation, project management, problem solving, negotiation, influencer, adaptability.
- Working conditions: periodic evening/weekend work; travel minimally 20%.
- Requires vehicle travel as necessary.
Compensation/benefits (if included):
- Anticipated base salary range: $85,000β$140,000; eligibility for commission and equity; multiple paid time off, health insurance options, retirement benefits.
