Role Summary

Pharmaceutical Sales - Territory Manager for Dermatology Specialty. Responsible for account-based selling to health care providers who influence treatment for the dermatology portfolio, including specialty dermatology practices and key hospital accounts. Build relationships with dermatology-focused customers and stakeholders to drive adoption of Lilly therapies; identify relationships with advocacy groups, teaching institutions, influencers, and managed care organizations within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Territory Management: Develops understanding of territory and reimbursement landscape and uses insights tools to analyze and adapt to business needs.
  • Account Management: Navigate healthcare environment to understand accounts and influence key stakeholders to become a trusted partner.
  • Selling Skills / Customer Experience: Dialogue agility; actively listens and adapts to customer prompts during calls.
  • Medical Integrity: Demonstrates learning agility to understand clinical information, product portfolio, and therapeutic marketplace; engage with every member of an office/account.
  • Selling Skills: Promote entire product portfolio by planning for and engaging in patient-centered dialogue; utilize selling model to identify appropriate patients.
  • Execution / Results: Sales activity using business analytics to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals in line with internal policies and PhRMA code.
  • Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with field-facing and internal peers to create a coordinated, positive customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Required: Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state.
  • Required: Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Required: Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no sponsorship for work authorization/visas).
  • Preferred: Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after undergraduate degree.
  • Preferred: Additional work experience or graduate degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, PharmD).
  • Preferred: Account-based selling experience and ability to engage staff members within accounts; strong background navigating complex integrated health systems; understanding of specialty pharmacy distribution; experience selling injectable/infusion therapies; cross-functional collaboration.
  • Preferred: High learning agility, self-motivation, team focus, emotional intelligence, and influence.
  • Preferred: Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
