Lilly Dermatology Specialty Territory Manager (Derm1_200486)
Responsibilities
- Lead account-based selling to health care providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence treatment for disease states in the Lilly dermatology portfolio.
- Build relationships with dermatology customers to drive adoption of new and existing therapies.
- Develop business relationships with state/local advocacy groups, teaching institutions, key influencers, and managed care organizations.
- Become a credible expert and resource for stakeholders.
- Develop a strong understanding of the territory and reimbursement landscape and use business insights tools to adapt to business needs.
- Systematically navigate the healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders.
- Actively listen and adapt to verbal and non-verbal customer prompts.
- Demonstrate learning agility to understand clinical information/disease state, the product portfolio, and the therapeutic marketplace; use this to engage every member of an office/account.
- Promote the entire product portfolio through patient-centered dialogue; use the selling model to identify appropriate patients.
- Utilize business analytic resources to meet customer needs and sales goals while complying with internal policies/procedures and the PhRMA code.
- Collaborate with field and internal peers to create a coordinated, positive customer experience.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree.
- Professional certification or license required if required by the specific state.
- Valid US driverโs license and acceptable driving record.
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization/visas.
Additional Skills/Preferences
- 2+ years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after an undergraduate degree.
- Additional work experience and/or graduate degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, PharmD).
- Demonstrated business ownership, selling/customer experience, and execution/results.
- Account-based selling experience; ability to identify and engage staff in accounts.
- Strong background navigating complex integrated health systems.
- Extensive understanding of specialty pharmacy distribution model.
- Experience selling injectable/infusion molecules in complex reimbursement environments.
- History of working with multiple cross-functional partners.
- Strong learning agility; self-motivated, team-focused, emotionally intelligent, influential.
- Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
