Responsibilities:
- Achieve territory sales goals by promoting products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within an assigned geography.
- Educate customers on appropriate use, characteristics, and approved indications of products.
- Promote and educate specialty physicians on the appropriate use of rare disease products via one-on-one meetings and group presentations, company-approved promotional speaker programs, and other approved methods.
- Achieve both territory product sales goals and territory sales activity goals using company-defined metrics.
- Maintain high call and field productivity; meet sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and required promotional regulations.
- Execute company-approved Product Marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities.
- Support targeted customers and accounts using company-approved resources, sales materials, and approved promotional initiatives/programs as identified by Sales Leadership.
- Manage and maintain company equipment and company-approved promotional materials (e.g., literature, sales materials, product samples) per compliance guidelines.
- Execute territory sales strategy using territory/regional business plans and sales reports.
- Communicate cross-functionally to gather best practices from peers.
- Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional sales development.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS required.
- 5–7+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience required; competitive market experience preferred.
- Proven sustained high sales performance/achievement (e.g., Top 10%, National Awards).
- 2+ years promoting rare competitive disease products strongly preferred.
- Valid US State-issued driver’s license required.
- Launch/start-up experience a plus.
- Experience working with Endocrinologists preferred.
- Ability to understand office stakeholders and support patient initiation on therapy within company guardrails.
- Ability to build relationships in existing accounts and proactively find new accounts.
- Specialty pharmacy and internal patient support role experience preferred.
- Experience navigating managed care and rare disease products preferred.

Working Conditions:
- Periodic evening/weekend work as necessary.
- Periodic overnight travel; vehicle travel as necessary.
- Travel approximately 70%.

Compensation/Benefits:
- The anticipated base salary range is $110,000 to $190,000. This role may include eligibility for commission and equity; additional compensation/benefits are offered.
