Role Summary
Pharmaceutical Sales - Associate Territory Manager for Cardiometabolic Health. The Territory Manager will be accountable for account-based selling to health care providers who prescribe and influence treatment across multiple specialties within the Lilly portfolio. Based in Staten Island, NY, the role emphasizes building trusted partnerships, driving utilization and adoption of medicines for the right patients, and executing Lilly’s selling and account management models.
Responsibilities
- Promotes the full portfolio of priority products with multiple HCP specialties.
- Understands the marketplace within the territory; evaluates and tailors the territory strategy to grow and own business outcomes.
- Navigates the evolving healthcare environment and payer landscape to understand accounts and influence key stakeholders to become trusted partners.
- Uses business insight tools, data, and analytics to identify trends, priorities, opportunities, and potential obstacles.
- Implements and adopts new technologies, including AI tools and analytical capabilities to streamline customer interactions.
- Identifies and advocates for opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
- Models a growth mindset to create positive experiences.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree.
- Required: Professional certification or license to perform this position if required by a specific state.
- Required: Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Required: Legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
- Preferred: Demonstrated business ownership skills, selling/customer experience skills, and execution/results.
- Preferred: Account-based selling experience; ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts.
- Preferred: Strong learning agility, self-motivated, team-focused, and emotionally intelligent.
- Preferred: Bilingual skills aligned with territory and customer needs.
- Preferred: Residence within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
