The Rare Blood Therapy Manager (RBTM) represents Novo Nordisk, Inc. to targeted accounts and thought leaders in an assigned territory to maximize sales and establish NNI as a leader in the hemophilia marketplace.

Responsibilities:
- Drive sales outcomes to exceed goals; influence behavior change with HCPs
- Implement approved marketing and local sales strategies to effectively sell/promote hemophilia products
- Build and execute strategically targeted, account-specific business plans based on local/regional/national market forces
- Communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders in-person and virtually
- Develop meaningful relationships with key external stakeholders and achieve trusted advisor status
- Use two-way dialogue and active listening to identify customer needs
- Respectfully challenge and influence patient management approaches in rare blood disorders
- Coordinate with field and home office colleagues to leverage provider relationships across total geography
- Identify customer insights to anticipate healthcare market trends
- Apply analytical business acumen to advance the business and execute territory plans
- Lead initiatives based on understanding of HCP influence across total geography
- Manage multiple priorities, execute with urgency, and organize work for maximum impact

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical/healthcare sales (Rare Disease preferred) OR 5 years relevant Rare Disease experience; at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales (hemophilia care/treatment/advocacy counts)
- Expert/strong knowledge of hemophilia market (preferred)
- Ability to facilitate trust and understanding
- Aptitude to learn/communicate technical and scientific product/disease information
- Decision-making and leadership skills
- Intermediate computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel); sales data/call reporting software experience preferred
- Self-starter able to operate with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements:
- 50–75% overnight travel; valid driver’s license; must be in good standing (per points threshold)

Benefits/Pay (as stated): Base compensation range $99,600–$184,200; eligible for company bonus; long-term incentive and/or company vehicles; medical/dental/vision; life/disability; 401(k); flex spending; EAP; tuition reimbursement; voluntary benefits; time off and parental leave.
