US Pet Health Veterinary Sales Representative
Responsibilities:
- Provide a key leadership role for distributor representatives within your assigned geography.
- Drive product placement with targeted accounts.
- Execute sales objectives and strategies with corporate hospitals.
- Complete and execute a territory business plan with key essential wins.
- Achieve sales goals and objectives while operating within an assigned expense budget.
- Liaison with local veterinary associations and coordinate efforts for state VMA meetings.
- Spend defined time in the field conducting face-to-face meetings with hospital influencers.
- Set up and execute launch meetings in conjunction with veterinary services to support product launches.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 2 years in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales (or equivalent in a competitive selling environment) or prior Elanco intern experience.
- Skills: Team-first approach, hustle mentality, eagerness to win.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship anticipated (e.g., H-1B or TN).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to influence without authority.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent speaking and presentation skills.
- Ability to convey messages and motivate various audiences.
- Ability to make decisions under uncertainty/ambiguity.
- Strategic thinking; strong planning and execution skills.
- In-depth knowledge of companion animal veterinary products and the companion animal market.
- Advanced degree in business.
Benefits:
- Base salary range: $59,000–$143,200 (depending on qualifications).
- Company bonus eligibility (full-time equivalents).
