Role Summary
Digital Marketing Intern with marketplace knowledge, analytical capabilities, strong SEO and optimization experience, and a passion for testing content that resonates with the consumer. This Content Intern will drive organic sales on eCommerce sites, improve keyword ranking, increase conversion rates, improve the quality of product listings, and help launch products on time. The role requires a bias for action, data-driven decision making, and a focus on optimizing content. The Intern will help lead the content delivery and regulatory advertising compliance process for Perrigo’s digital content, touching web pages, videos, articles, and images, and will partner with digital and eCommerce managers, content teams, and marketing leads to create compelling digital experiences for brand websites and media channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop eCommerce organic search and content strategy to increase product awareness and drive conversion for our brands. Formulate a plan for various types of content to meet marketing goals and audience needs, aiming to boost brand engagement. Examples include web site copy, video, marketing emails, and digital ads for paid media placements.
- Content management: manage a content calendar to guide the production process, ensure consistent, on-brand, high-quality content published across digital platforms. Perform content audits to identify gaps and opportunities to engage consumers.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging: review all content to ensure it aligns with the creative brief, the organization’s brand identity and messaging across digital channels.
- SEO optimization: incorporate SEO best practices and keyword research to improve content visibility and search engine rankings across brand websites.
- Lead the regulatory content compliance submission process through Censhare tool - ensuring content meets requirements.
- Research and analysis: analyze market trends, audience preferences and competition to identify content opportunities and optimize strategy.
- Performance monitoring: use analytic tools to evaluate organic content performance and adapt strategies based on data-driven insights. (Profitero)
- Serve as the subject matter expert for eCommerce content best practices, benchmarking, and content creation.
- Organic Sales: The Content Specialist is responsible for driving organic sales. They will develop strategies and execute changes to meet organic sales targets each month.
Qualifications
- Required: Undergraduate student majoring in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Preferred: junior or senior standing.
- Required: Excellent communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Required: Demonstrate the ability to work independently and engage professionally with leadership at all levels.
- Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
