Position Summary
As the People Business Partner, support leaders and employees; consult to business leaders; partner with global HR to advance people priorities. Support People initiatives across assigned client groups and advance the OneHR global strategy.
Function Overview
- Organization Effectiveness: Support modern, sustainable processes; execute plans/strategies; utilize talent systems; collaborate across HR centers of excellence.
- Talent Management: Lead/partner globally to assess, hire, engage, and retain for talent succession.
- Leadership Development: Support leadership capability development and employee/leader development.
- People Optimization: Enhance the site employee experience through strategic partnership, global practices, and streamlined processes.
Accountabilities
- Serve as a point of contact for employees at all levels; understand goals and develop aligned strategies.
- Translate organizational strategies into People initiatives and action plans.
- Lead and resolve complex employee relations issues; guide managers; conduct thorough investigations.
- Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and other People-related matters.
- Support career development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for organizational improvement and development.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management.
- Lead or contribute to People projects/initiatives and ensure timely implementation.
- Manage the employee administrative lifecycle (onboarding through departure).
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and appropriate People policies.
- Support People annual processes.
- Improve People processes to positively impact employee experience.
Education and Experience / Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- 3β5+ years of progressive People function experience.
- Strategic business partner/advisor to site leaders and employees.
- Experience leading and resolving employee relations investigations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Global, matrix organization experience preferred.
