Position Summary
The Digital Marketing, Patient Recruitment and Patient Advocacy Manager will lead the strategy, development, and execution of integrated, omni-channel patient clinical trial recruitment campaigns supporting global clinical trial enrollment efforts.
Essential Functions
- Lead integrated multi-channel patient recruitment campaigns across indications and geographies.
- Develop digital marketing plans aligned to study timelines, enrollment objectives, patient dynamics, and budget.
- Overhaul the company website with compliant copy, images, and navigation.
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid media across Meta, Google Search & Display, YouTube, Programmatic, and disease-specific communities/advocacy platforms.
- Oversee performance in real time and optimize against KPIs (CPL, conversion rates, qualified referrals, engagement, enrollment progression).
- Conduct ongoing testing (A/B testing creative, messaging, audiences, landing pages).
- Partner with analytics and agencies to build attribution models and patient journey reporting.
- Create compliant, patient-centric digital content (ad copy, visuals, landing pages, educational materials).
- Ensure educational materials meet regulatory, legal, privacy, and brand standards.
- Partner cross-functionally to align campaigns with enrollment priorities, scientific accuracy, and community engagement.
- Manage agency/vendor/partner relationships; negotiate media placements and performance-based agreements.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, pacing, and resource allocation.
- Deliver executive performance reporting and dashboards.
- Monitor trends, risks, and opportunities; stay current on digital trends and privacy changes.
Education & Experience
- Bachelorโs degree required (Marketing/Journalism/Advertising/Communications or related); Masterโs preferred.
- 7+ years in digital/performance/growth marketing.
- Healthcare/pharma/biotech/CRO or clinical trial recruitment experience required.
- Clinical trial patient recruitment experience required.
- Patient advocacy group experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Data-driven; strong analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent communication/stakeholder management.
- Detail-oriented; balances creativity with regulatory constraints.
- Familiar with IRB/ethics considerations and patient privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).
Working Environment
- Remote; MonโFri schedule; some travel (~3โ4 trips/year).
