Patient Access Liaison (PAL) — Field-based patient access and reimbursement specialist.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a resource on patient access and reimbursement for infused and specialty therapies.
- Assist patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers with insurance benefits, prior authorization, and reimbursement processes.
- Identify and resolve access challenges (coverage questions, prior authorization barriers, denied claims).
- Provide education on coding and billing considerations.
- Engage patients/caregivers by phone, virtual, and in-person; obtain written/electronic HIPAA authorization within assigned geography.
- Educate patients on coverage and steps for prior authorization; provide info on co-pay assistance, national foundations, and free drug programs as appropriate.
- Educate physician offices and sites of care on coverage pathways and reimbursement; support infusion centers with reimbursement questions.
- Investigate access challenges before/after infusion; review denied claims and recommend next steps; escalate complex issues.
- Partner with internal teams (Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Case Management, Site of Care) and share payer/reimbursement field insights.

Qualifications:
- Level 5: Doctorate; OR Master’s + 2 years; OR Bachelor’s + 4 years; OR Associate’s + 8 years; OR HS/GED + 10 years in patient services and/or access & reimbursement.
- Level 6: Doctorate + 2 years; OR Master’s + 4 years; OR Bachelor’s + 6 years.

Preferred:
- Buy-and-bill/infused therapy experience; rare disease/orphan drug experience; clinical background (nursing/allied health).
- Prior authorization, appeals, denied claims knowledge; HIPAA/FDA/regulatory and internal/OIG compliance familiarity.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving and communication skills; ability to manage complex cases; cross-functional field team experience.
- Microsoft Office/CRM; travel up to 50%.

Compensation/Benefits (explicit):
- Base salary range: $158,394–$185,578 (Level 5); $164,276–$222,256 (Level 6).
