Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for patients/caregivers, providing education on disease state, company products, and therapy access/administration.
- Develop and maintain patient/caregiver relationships via in-person and virtual interactions.
- Assess patient needs to create an action plan using approved resources; provide individualized education on disease state/product.
- Educate patients on insurance coverage and the process to obtain therapy.
- Provide medication administration education once coverage is established; share affordability resources as needed.
- Build and manage long-term communication plans with the patientโ€™s care team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams; partner with Patient Advocacy (including attending patient education symposia as needed).
- Partner with Patient Safety/PV and Complaint Management/Compliance colleagues to report adverse events and product complaints.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations/standards; up to 50% travel (including overnight and some weekend travel).

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree AND 5+ years in a direct patient support role; ability to explain disease state/product/access & reimbursement concepts at a consumer level.
- Preferred: clinical/allied health degree/licensure; 5+ years clinical experience in pediatrics, endocrinology, neurology, ENT, orthopedics, or related.
- 2+ years pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Preferred: bilingual; experience with product launches for orphan/rare diseases; experience educating on injectable product administration; experience navigating reimbursement obstacles.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, FDA requirements, and OIG compliance guidelines.
- Ability to work autonomously, communicate cross-functionally, respond to evolving needs; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; adhere to company compliance programs.

- Annual base salary: $185,000โ€“$190,000 (plus possible car allowance and eligibility for bonus/commission).
