Role: Surgical Pathologist / Cytopathologist responsible for diagnostic interpretation of surgical pathology and cytology cases, including gynecologic specimens, in a high-volume clinical laboratory setting. Objectives: ensure accurate, timely diagnostics while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality standards. Responsibilities: perform diagnostic sign-out, provide expert consultation, and ensure adherence to GLP, safety, and accreditation standards. Requirements: MD from an accredited institution, AL & GA licensed, Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP; eligibility for LA, MS, TN, FL licenses; Cytopathology certification and subspecialty experience in Breast or GI pathology are highly desirable. Experience: previous work in high-volume labs recommended; fellowship training encouraged. High-Value: gynecologic and cytopathology, high-volume diagnostic environment, regulatory compliance, multi-state licensing.
