Pathologist

Role: Surgical Pathologist/Cytopathologist in Birmingham, AL, responsible for individual diagnostic evaluation and sign-out of surgical pathology and cytology cases, with a focus on gynecologic specimens. Objectives include delivering accurate, timely diagnoses, ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards, and providing expert consultation to clients and staff. Responsibilities encompass case evaluation, maintaining good laboratory practices, and adhering to accreditation guidelines. Requirements: Medical Degree from an accredited institution, AL & GA medical licenses, Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and eligibility for licenses in LA, MS, TN, and FL.
