Position: Sr. Director, PAP Operations and Vendor Strategy
Responsibilities / Key Objectives
- Own and continuously improve day-to-day operations and vendor management for Lilly Cares PAP, ensuring compliant, high-quality delivery.
- Develop scalable processes, governance frameworks, and SOPs meeting regulatory, privacy, and quality standards.
- Establish/monitor KPIs to track program health and patient impact; proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Lead operational planning (forecasting, demand monitoring, capacity management) for active medicine donations.
- Lead PAP vendor strategy: selection, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing vendor performance management.
- Conduct structured vendor performance reviews; maintain audit readiness and resolve escalations.
- Lead PAP project management (integrated plans, timelines, risk registers, status reporting); implement agile tools.
- Drive operational transformation change management; support resource planning, budget management, and prioritization.
- Serve as cross-functional partner (US Medical Affairs, Legal, Finance, Compliance; external partners); support Board materials.
- Lead, mentor, and coach direct reports; recruit/onboard/develop talent.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 7+ years in pharmaceutical, patient services, or healthcare access operations.
- Managing vendor ecosystems and multi-vendor performance in a regulated environment.
- 3+ years people leadership experience.
- US work authorization required (company does not sponsor visas).
Additional Preferences
- MBA/MHA/MPH or equivalent; complex operational program leadership.
- Project management infrastructure across multiple workstreams; strong analytical and comms skills.
- Patient assistance/specialty pharma operations experience; FDA/FCA/HIPAA/privacy knowledge.
- GPP/CPP knowledge; change management; Lean Six Sigma.
Travel
- Limited travel (U.S.) to vendors and industry conferences.
Compensation / Benefits (as stated)
- Anticipated wage: $154,500β$226,600; eligible for company bonus.
