General Summary:
The Pain Territory Account Manager (PTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with key institutional decision makers and affiliated HCPs to promote the safe and effective use of JOURNAVX. Leads engagement with 15–20 institutions (hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers) and select physicians in hospital settings/networks. Works alongside Territory Business Managers for community engagement.

Candidate must reside within Northwest Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships across multiple layers of hospital systems (medical/administrative staff, pharmacies, formulary decision makers, KTLs)
- Maintain expertise on product clinical attributes and unmet patient need; educate appropriate healthcare professionals
- Navigate formulary processes and deliver product value to support timely inclusion on formularies/pathways/protocols
- Understand institutional dynamics (stakeholders, decision makers, patient protocols, referral networks, access, drivers/barriers)
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow across the customer landscape
- Drive sales performance; meet/exceed forecasts and assigned budgets
- Collaborate with field and HQ teams to align business plans and initiatives
- Model ethics and integrity to support compliance

Required Experience/Skills:
- 5–7+ years biotech sales (hospital/institution product launch highly desired)
- 3+ years account management; ability to leverage institutional relationships
- Experience navigating hospital systems/formulary management to gain access and influence decision makers and community prescribers
- Experience implementing inpatient formularies/protocols/pathways/order sets
- Strong IT skills including Veeva CRM
- New product launch experience preferred

Other Requirements:
- Complete required trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations as needed
- Must live/work within territory (may require near major airport)
- Valid driver’s license
- Travel up to 80% (car/air) and work after hours as needed; 10–30% overnight travel as required
