General Summary:
The Pain Territory Account Manager (PTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with key institutional decision makers and affiliated HCPs to promote the safe and effective use of JOURNAVX in acute pain. Leads engagement with 15β20 institutions (hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers) and select physicians. Reports to a Regional Field Leader and works with Territory Business Managers.
Candidate must reside within Northwest Arkansas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish professional relationships across hospital systems (medical/administrative staff, pharmacies, formulary decision makers and KTLs)
- Develop product and clinical knowledge; educate HCPs on appropriate patient use
- Navigate formulary processes to ensure timely inclusion on formularies, pathways, and/or protocols
- Manage stakeholder mapping, decision-maker relationships, patient protocols, referral networks, and access barriers
- Implement strategic account plans to drive growth
- Drive sales performance; meet/exceed forecasts and territory budgets
- Collaborate with field team and HQ to align business plans and initiatives
- Model ethics and integrity to support compliance
Required Experience/Skills:
- 5β7+ years biotech sales (hospital/institution launch highly desired)
- 3+ years account management; leverage existing relationships
- Experience navigating hospital systems/formulary management and inpatient formulary/protocols/pathways/order sets
- IT competency including Veeva CRM
Other Requirements:
- Complete required trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations as needed
- Live/work in territory; valid driverβs license
- Travel up to 80%; 10β30% overnight; may work after hours
Pay Range:
$133,600β$200,400 (eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards)
