Packaging Technician 1 - 2nd Shift

Role: Packaging Technician I supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing lines, focusing on setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and compliance with cGMP standards. Responsibilities: execute line setups and changeovers with Machine Operators, maintain line performance by resolving routine issues, distinguish equipment failures from operational problems, ensure proper documentation, track changeover metrics, and coach operators on standard procedures and troubleshooting. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of manufacturing or packaging experience, experience operating packaging equipment, cGMP and safety training, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, previous Machine Operator 2 experience. Preferred: over 3 years of pharmaceutical packaging cGMP experience, lean manufacturing or continuous improvement familiarity, coaching experience. High-Value: pharmaceutical packaging within a regulated environment, cGMP compliance, troubleshooting, and documentation. WorkSetup: onsite Johnson City, TN, shift Mon-Fri 3:00pm-11:30pm, with potential for responding to critical issues outside scheduled hours.
