Packaging QA Technician - 1st Shift

Scope of the Role:
- Respond to quality events, complete related documentation, and determine immediate physical containment and remediation.
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and containing defects.
- Conduct ASPs and manage the rework process, including providing rework instructions.
- Review documentation as necessary.
- Perform auditing of Perrigo manufacturing and packaging processes to ensure compliance with applicable cGMP requirements.

Experience/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; preference for advanced education (2-year or 4-year degree, or progress toward a degree).
- Preferred: minimum 2 years’ experience working in an FDA regulated industry; required: at least 6 months.
- Understand and be able to apply cGMPs.
- Working knowledge of SOPs; able to provide clear direction and interpretation.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently against multiple deadlines.
- Ability to understand equipment operation and manufacturing/packaging processes.
