Packaging Operator 2nd shift

Role: Associate Technician (Second shift) in manufacturing, responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting packaging equipment within a GMP-compliant environment. Objectives include supporting operational efficiency, safety adherence, continuous improvement, and digital integration in production processes. Responsibilities encompass daily setup and routine operation of packaging lines, equipment troubleshooting, quality checks, documentation, and ensuring compliance with SOPs, GMP, OSHA, and EPA standards. The role emphasizes developing technical skills, digital capabilities, teamwork, and knowledge sharing within autonomous teams. Key tasks involve utilizing digital tools like SAP and MES, supporting process improvements, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Qualifications required include a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months’ experience with automated inventory or manufacturing systems, and competency in GMP environments, equipment setup, and troubleshooting. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in technical or industrial manufacturing and experience with motorized/material handling equipment. The position offers an hourly rate of $22.03-$33.05, with potential bonuses and benefits. The work is onsite in Myerstown, PA, with overtime as needed.
