Packaging Mechanic - Third Shift- 10:45 pm - 7am (Union)

Role: Packaging Setup Operator responsible for mechanical troubleshooting, line operation, changeovers, and maintenance of packaging equipment in a biopharma manufacturing environment. Primary objectives include ensuring efficient, compliant packaging operations, and supporting safety, quality, and productivity standards. Responsibilities encompass operating and troubleshooting equipment such as fillers, cappers, labelers, and sterilizers; performing changeovers and preventive maintenance; responding to faults; and training team members. Requirements: High school diploma and technical/trade certification; 2-5 years' experience in FDA-regulated settings preferred; knowledge of packaging machinery, controls, and serialization processes; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at elevation; good communication skills; familiarity with CGMP, SOPs, and safety regulations. High-Value: biologics or pharmaceutical packaging, sterile environment, FDA regulated, experience with serialization/aggregation, procedural compliance, and automation systems. Collaboration involves working within a team, adhering to strict quality and safety standards, with no explicit travel expected. Work setup likely in a manufacturing plant with potential for extended hours.
