      Role Summary
 The Packaging Lead Operator serves as the operational technical expert for the packaging department, ensuring equipment performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role supports day-to-day operations, leads investigations and training, and drives excellence in packaging processes through hands-on leadership and collaboration.
 
 Responsibilities
 
  - Comply with and support the Haleon Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
 
  - Ensure quality and compliance in accordance with established procedures and standards of the Quality System.
 
  - Review SOPs for the packaging department.
 
  - Participate in all deviation rapid responses on the floor.
 
  - Lead deviation and root cause analysis.
 
  - Operate packaging equipment.
 
  - Act as Line Leader during absences or as needed.
 
  - Ensure packaging equipment is running according to daily schedule.
 
  - Drive changeovers and line clearances.
 
  - SAP functions-Batch reconciliation, Cycle Count, Material Movements, Confirmation and Inventory control.
 
  - Lead training as needed for packaging operators/OJTs, SOP, etc.
 
  - Participate and lead in continuous improvement efforts, 5s initiatives.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
  - Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED is required
 
  - A Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a production environment, leading a team or project is required.
 
  - Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and succeed in a team environment.
 
  - Ability to lift 5-25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift drums, bags and cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
 
  - Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.
 
  - Team oriented and flexible, able to adapt to changing assignments.
 
  - Highly motivated and self-driven with a desire to continuously improve own skill set. Able to function productively with minimal supervision.
 
  - Good organizational skills and interest in project management.
 
  - Ability to operate computer applications to include SAP functions, etc.
 
  - Highly attentive to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and operations.
 
  - Ability to operate work saver, stand-up, and sit-down fork truck
 
 
 
 Education
 
  - AssociateβΓΓ΄s Degree or Technical education preferred
 
 
 
 Additional Requirements
 
  - Location: St Louis, MO (not remote)
 
  - Shift: 8pm-6:30am Mon-Fri
