Position Summary
- Operate packaging line equipment, handle materials, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Shift/Compensation
- Shift Time: Sunday–Thursday, 10:45pm–7am
- Compensation: $34.45/hr + $2 shift differential

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment per PPE, safety, and EHS standards.
- Execute packaging operations according to approved documentation and SOPs.
- Respond to alarms and troubleshoot packaging process issues.
- Perform equipment cleaning, change parts, and line clearance.
- Complete required documentation (room/equipment logbooks, batch records, verification checks).
- Stage and transfer packaging materials and bulk products as needed.
- Verify packaging components and bulk product against batch records/protocols.
- Stack finished goods on pallets, shrink-wrap pallets, and transfer to warehouse.
- Operate palletizer and pallet jack safely.
- Remove unused/discarded materials to designated warehouse or recycling areas.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and cGMP, DEA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with team members to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
- Train/mentor other Material Handlers and Packaging Operators as required.
- Perform additional duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
- 1–2 years’ experience in an FDA regulated packaging environment (desired).

Required/Preferred Skills
- Proficient navigating HMI screens for packaging equipment (Tablet/Capsule Filler, Cottoner, Capper, Desiccant Inserter, Checkweigher, Labeler, Case Former, Pallet Jack).
- Assist Packaging Technicians during line changeovers.
- Work extended hours and maintain focus under challenging conditions.
- Basic math skills for packaging order start-up/completion.
- Knowledge of aggregation processes.
- Respond to equipment alarms/faults/error messages; assess potential product impact.
- Demonstrated safe work practices and compliance with EHS/PPE.
- Read/write/speak/understand English.

Physical Demands
- Lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Work at elevation with appropriate safety gear.
- Stand ~6 hours/shift.
- Vision accuracy and color detection required.
