Overnight Maintenance Technician (Onsite, Atlanta, GA)
Schedule: Sunday evening to Friday morning, 10pm–6am. Occasional overtime and weekend work.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve mechanical and electrical equipment/systems in a high-speed manufacturing environment, ensuring product quality and employee safety (team-based).
- Fix machine breakdowns and complete preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs.
- Record repair logs and maintenance performed.
- Work with production departments to identify critical repairs and minimize production downtime.
Qualifications (Required):
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs; service equipment throughout the brewery.
- Self-management with strong organizational skills, problem solving, root cause analysis, and work ethic.
- Multi-tasking; maintain open priority item lists; intermediate computer skills; excellent verbal communication.
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment (fillers, packers, labelers, conveyors, etc.).
- Fabricating, machining, welding, and metal work experience.
- Experience creating and performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) routines.
- Vendor communication and parts ordering.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience in the food/beverage industry.
- Troubleshooting/servicing electrical control systems, PLCs, VFDs, power distribution systems, and circuits.
- Read schematics/blueprints; use precision measuring/testing equipment and special tools.
- ControlLogix experience.
