Operator, Manufacturing – 3rd Shift

Key responsibilities:
- Visually inspect the product during operation; observe equipment/process; seek maintenance assistance and recommend improvements.
- Assist with setup and running of production equipment.
- Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment for inspection; keep work area clean and orderly.
- Ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
- Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets.
- Assist in training new personnel in the manufacturing operation as directed.
- Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, etc. as instructed.
- Coordinate work of other Operators and act as backup to Senior Operator as directed.

Minimum qualifications:
- High School diploma.
- Minimum two years of experience (or combination of experience and/or education).
- Good mechanical, communication, time management, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and Lotus Notes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stoop, climb ladders/stairs, and stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to wear a respirator; hear an alarm; identify small defects; distinguish between colors.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $30,000 - $49,000.
