Operator II/Trainer, Production Technical Operations (Day Shift)

Role: Operator II/Trainer in Production Technical Operations at Alcon, responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, supporting workflow efficiency, and training production staff. Responsibilities: set up, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment; monitor production quality and compliance; lead daily operational activities; ensure staff training and certification, support GxP adherence, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; English fluency; 36-48 hours/week on onsite 12-hour rotating shifts; no travel. Preferred: technical degree or certification in engineering, science, or IT; prior manufacturing experience; staff training or leadership background; knowledge of GMP/GxP environments; strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
