Role Summary
Operator, Aseptic Filling (Day Shift).
Responsibilities
- Support start-up activities required to bring the Parenteral (PAR) area into service during the project phase, including formulation, aseptic isolator barrier filling, and visual inspection.
- Operate equipment and perform activities to meet production schedule; troubleshoot and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure continuous supply of medicines after the project phase.
- Act as a site leader and expert, educating the team on proper operation of the facility and maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.
- Provide technical leadership on the manufacturing floor, administer technical training, and ensure operators are trained to perform tasks.
- Drive departmental objectives, including safety performance, deviation reduction, productivity, and training compliance.
- Support daily activities to meet capacity plans while developing personal and team capabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
- A valid driver’s license
- Must pass a “fitness for duty” physical exam
- Must pass a vision exam and be free of color blindness; must be equivalent to 20/20 correctable close vision
- Availability to work 6am to 6pm on a 2-2-3 schedule
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship expected)
Skills
- Experience with aseptic filling, isolator technology, single-use assemblies, and/or automated/ manual inspection
- Strong communication (electronic, written, verbal) and leadership abilities
- Proficiency with computer software (MS Office) and manufacturing systems
- Knowledge of CGMPs and manufacturing operations in pharmaceutical/medical device/food processing industries
- Continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
Education
- STEM degree or certifications preferred
