Role Summary

Operator, Aseptic Filling (Day Shift).

Responsibilities

  • Support start-up activities required to bring the Parenteral (PAR) area into service during the project phase, including formulation, aseptic isolator barrier filling, and visual inspection.
  • Operate equipment and perform activities to meet production schedule; troubleshoot and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure continuous supply of medicines after the project phase.
  • Act as a site leader and expert, educating the team on proper operation of the facility and maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Provide technical leadership on the manufacturing floor, administer technical training, and ensure operators are trained to perform tasks.
  • Drive departmental objectives, including safety performance, deviation reduction, productivity, and training compliance.
  • Support daily activities to meet capacity plans while developing personal and team capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Must pass a “fitness for duty” physical exam
  • Must pass a vision exam and be free of color blindness; must be equivalent to 20/20 correctable close vision
  • Availability to work 6am to 6pm on a 2-2-3 schedule
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship expected)

Skills

  • Experience with aseptic filling, isolator technology, single-use assemblies, and/or automated/ manual inspection
  • Strong communication (electronic, written, verbal) and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency with computer software (MS Office) and manufacturing systems
  • Knowledge of CGMPs and manufacturing operations in pharmaceutical/medical device/food processing industries
  • Continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)

Education

  • STEM degree or certifications preferred
