Operations
Position Details
This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Selects and weighs components per established manufacturing directions (batch records).
- Selects and moves components to weighing area or dumping station.
- Examines finished products for consistency and blend characteristics; samples per Quality Control procedures.
- Selects and records lot numbers and weights of materials; reconciles weights and yields on batch formulation sheet.
- Packages finished goods per batch specifications; reconciles packages with production yield.
- Assigns dates/lot numbers to product labels and affixes labels to packaged product.
- Maintains mixing/packaging equipment; keeps work area clean and follows OSHA and GMP; cleans equipment regularly and as needed.
- Operates forklift to move and store raw, in-process, and finished goods.
- Performs safety inspections and makes recommendations.
- Checks calibration of scales and maintains inspection log.
- Reports inconsistencies (color, odor, etc.) to Blend Plant Manager.
- Recommends improvements to product appearance, flow, and packaging.
- Assists Utility Mechanic as required.

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous Production experience.
Physical Requirements
- Lift/carry, push/pull: 21–50 lbs; reach outward frequently; sit frequently; squat/kneel frequently; stand constantly; talk/hear constantly; use hands constantly; walk constantly.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday (standard work hours).
Compensation
- Hourly rate range: $21.00–$21.00.
