Role Summary
Operations Technician responsible for manufacturing operations at the Animal Health facility, including biologics production, fermentation and cell culture, filling and freeze-drying, and working in a cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities
- This job requires working in a cleanroom and wearing cleanroom garments.
- The Position requires wearing scrubs when working in the production area.
- Running steam sterilizers, filling lines, freeze dryers, environmental monitoring machines, crimping machines, and a dry heat oven.
- Preparing and cleaning equipment
- Cleaning and disinfecting clean rooms
- Good communication, document, and computer skills are required.
- You will work individually or with other people.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- BS in Biology, Microbiology, or related field preferred.
Experience
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment with training
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills are required
- General knowledge of reading, mathematics and computer skills are required.
- Ability to communicate and work in cooperation with other employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Successful completion of a Physical Abilities Test.
- Experience working in a laboratory or pharmaceutical manufacturing highly preferred.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- BS in Biology, Microbiology, or related field preferred.
Shift
- 1st shift Monday-Wednesday and Saturday-Sunday
