Use Your Power for Purpose

Injectable Filling Operations Technicians are responsible for filling injectable drug product into primary containers. Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards via Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all regulatory requirements (i.e., GMPs). This job includes the following functions:

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Set up and change over the filling lines per approved procedures
  • Monitor filling line for efficient run time versus established standards
  • Process hazardous and non-hazardous drug products into final containers
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitization
  • Ensure adequate inventory of parts and materials prior to initiating a production run
  • Utilize computer skills to interact with multiple complex PLC and SCADA systems
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineers to troubleshoot equipment and perform total productivity maintenance (TPM) tasks
  • Support development and execution of Capital Projects, corrective actions, and continuous improvement ideas
  • Demonstrate growth mindset to share best practices, utilize downtime effectively, and learn filling principles
  • Work safely and compliantly following all applicable SOPs and standards including recording of GMP documentation
  • Achieve and maintain aseptic certification to work within graded spaces
  • Complete and maintain all required training on time
  • Adhere to all area standard work
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability of the production schedule and product quality
  • Execute in-process quality verifications and sampling
  • Work in other areas if required
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Requirements

Here Is What You Need

  • High school diploma / general education degree (GED) plus:
  • An associate degree, OR
  • Veteran/Military experience, OR
  • One year of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or GMP facility (e.g. current or previous Pfizer colleague or contractor or similar)
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mechanical experience / knowledge
  • Aseptic manufacturing knowledge

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Previous experience in cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) environment
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor team members

Physical/Mental Requirements

  • Able to lift/lower up to 55 pounds. Working in high elevations (above 6 feet).
  • Reaching, standing, walking, stooping, and repetitive motion.
  • Able to wear safety PPE (i.e. hard hat, body harness, goggles, face shield).
  • Able to work within full clean room environments with appropriate gowning (Grades A, B, C, and D).
  • Workers may be exposed to Electromagnetic Fields within this position.

Work Location Assignment: On Premise

The salary for this position ranges from $21.05 to $35.08 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Companyโ€™s policies.
