Responsibilities
- Oversee 20–40 employees across multiple production lines in a pharmaceutical manufacturing/packaging environment.
- Assign tasks, adjust workloads, and meet production goals.
- Schedule and monitor employee training; assess progress.
- Monitor production quality and solve problems using leadership skills.
- Build relationships and maintain knowledge of Perrigo policies, procedures, and resources to support the organization.
- Coach and develop team members to increase trust, engagement, and retention.
- Foster an inclusive environment supporting diversity and authenticity.
- Share specialized knowledge with management to develop/implement ongoing processes or special projects; recommend process changes to eliminate repetitive problems.
- Participate in capacity or budget planning; gather/evaluate information and make/present recommendations.
- Test/evaluate materials or process changes and recommend implementation or rejection.
- Supervise ongoing or special maintenance/installation projects; work with engineering to select/evaluate new equipment.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or minimum 4 years of supervision experience in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills: communication, performance management, and problem-solving.
- Ability to provide work direction across multiple production areas.
- Sound judgment and good decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Previous experience in an FDA-regulated industry.
- Experience with production work systems, change management, and continuous improvement.
