Role Overview
- Exempt-level CAR-T Operations Supervisor within Technical Operations, directing daily production of a personalized cell therapy in a sterile cGMP environment on an assigned production shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise multiple units within CAR-T process operations (component preparation/manufacturing, MFG support operations, Mock cell, and CAR-T process) per SOPs and batch records; ensure safe, compliant cGMP manufacturing.
- Run daily start-of-shift and end-of-shift operations meetings; assign daily production tasks and ensure compliance and successful completion.
- Work on the production floor with operations personnel, providing guidance and performing production tasks as needed consistent with safety, quality systems, and cGMP.
- Support manufacturing investigations; create/revise operational procedures (work instructions, master batch records/forms); support and manage change controls.
- Partner with the Operations Manager to help oversee development of production personnel and provide input on performance.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to resolve production issues; serve as first point of contact for operators.
- Support manufacturing process development, department projects, and continuous improvement/efficiency initiatives in cell therapy Technical Operations.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of cGMP operations experience in biotech/biopharma; prior manufacturing/quality/engineering experience.
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations, FDA guidance for cell-based products, and cleanroom behaviors.
- Strong leadership; effective communication/influence; can prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving; change agent mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Shift work (including evenings/weekends), and potential unplanned overtime.
- Working leader in critical production situations; lift 25 lbs.; sufficient vision/hearing and dexterity for records.
