Role Overview
- Exempt role within Technical Operations directing daily production of personalized CAR-T cell therapy in a sterile cGMP environment on an assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise multiple CAR-T process units (component preparation/manufacturing support, mock cell, CAR-T process) per SOPs and batch records; ensure safe, compliant cGMP operations.
- Run daily start-of-shift and wrap-up meetings; assign daily tasks to ensure compliance and successful execution.
- Work on the production floor providing guidance and performing production tasks as needed, aligned with safety, quality systems, and cGMP.
- Support manufacturing investigations; create/revise operational procedures (work instructions, master batch records, forms) and manage change controls.
- Partner with Operations Manager to develop production personnel and provide input on performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality) as first point of contact for operators; support process development, projects, and continuous improvement/efficiency.
- Regular exposure to biological materials and hazardous chemicals.

Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Science/Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
- 6+ years cGMP operations experience in biotech/biopharma; prior manufacturing/quality/engineering experience.
- Knowledge of cGMP and FDA guidance for cell-based products; cleanroom behaviors.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical/problem-solving, organizational skills; ability to manage priorities, work independently, and work with external collaborators.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; day shift availability (1st/2nd). May require evenings/weekends, unplanned overtime.
- English. Ability to lift 25 lbs., stand long periods; sufficient vision/hearing; color perception.
