Responsibilities:
- Provide shift floor leadership for daily operations, including development of operators and requalification tasks.
- Monitor/coach team to maintain safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Serve as technical leader for troubleshooting and primary escalation point on the shop floor.
- Administer technical training and ensure operators are trained to perform tasks.
- Assist with development and performance evaluations of shift operators.
- Liaison between operations and support functions; coordinate shift resources for formulation/material preparation.
- Communicate delays/escalations/exemplary behavior; assist with execution documentation checks (PMX, SAP, Cleaning Logs, etc.).
- Improve existing processes; drive objectives (safety, deviation reduction, productivity, training compliance).

Basic requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or Science.
- Demonstrated leadership skills; 2โ€“5 years manufacturing or controlled setting (education may substitute).
- Must pass โ€œfitness for dutyโ€ physical exam.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (2-2-3) and overtime as required.
- Ability to wear safety equipment and gown for aseptic processing in controlled classified areas.

Additional preferences:
- Train/lead teams; strong written/verbal communication; problem-solving.
- Basic computer skills.
- Scientific/technical degree or certifications; CGMP knowledge.
- Pharmaceutical/operations lab experience; compounding/formulation in Grade C.
- Solution filling/isolator experience; MES/electronic batch release; lean manufacturing knowledge.

Additional info:
- Lilly Research Triangle Park site; may allow periodic remote work during project phase.
- Travel up to 100% during asset delivery, <5% after startup; possible short assignments in Indianapolis and limited international travel for FAT.
