Operations Manager (2nd Shift) – Technical Operations (Onsite, Raritan, NJ; Monday–Friday 2nd shift)

Role Overview
- Oversee production of a personalized cell therapy in a sterile cGMP environment to support clinical and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safe, compliant manufacturing operations per cGMP.
- Serve as site management resource/point of contact for all 2nd shift employees; primary contact for 2nd shift Technical Operations area supervisors.
- Lead hiring, development, performance management; assign staff to execute daily production schedules.
- Create/revise operational procedures (work instructions, master batch records, forms, etc.).
- Oversee multiple work centers, ensure high-quality/compliant product supply, and track production metrics.
- Support manufacturing investigations; manage change controls; maintain inspection readiness; support regulatory inspections.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality; lead operating review meetings; drive continuous improvement projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Engineering (or related) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years cGMP operations experience in biotech/biopharma; 3+ years supervisory experience (Cell/Gene Therapy preferred).
- Strong verbal/written communication; analytical/problem-solving; independent, multi-tasking, cross-functional issue integration.
- Experience with Operational Excellence/Lean is an asset.
- Ability to work shift work (overtime/weekends) including unplanned overtime.
- Deep FDA/EMA/global regulatory knowledge.
- Familiarity with MES/ERP and digital transformation.

- Base pay range: $127,313–$167,099; performance bonus and/or equity (eligible roles).
