The Position
- Serve as key member of the shift production leadership team, providing operations support and coaching.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Act as a process advocate; coordinate the daily schedule with Work Cell Leaders and support groups, removing barriers so processes run optimally in assigned areas (Aseptic Production, Finished Production Assembly, Finished Production Packaging).
- Coach and mentor team members on technique, behavior, and mindset (visualize/track events, confirm operators follow processes, verify solutions work and are shared across shifts).
- Execute process confirmation of operations standards with process teams to proactively improve quality and compliance.
- Resolve/elevate issues related to e-time, PRISM, and SAP.
- Implement process improvements.
- Observe and enforce all safety and environmental requirements.
- Manage operator development planning on shift.
Qualifications
- Associateβs degree from an accredited university required.
- Manufacturing experience:
- Minimum 2 years required (preferably pharmaceutical).
- If Aseptic Production: both years must be aseptic processing experience.
- May consider HS diploma/equivalent with 4 years manufacturing experience (preferably pharma; if Aseptic Production, 2 of 4 years must be aseptic).
- Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred.
- Clear written and presentation communication preferred.
- Adult learning/training and coaching methods preferred.
- Computer skills: MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SAP; novoLIMS preferred.
