Operational Technology Engineer (OTE)

Role: Operational Technology Engineer supporting GMP oligonucleotide manufacturing automation infrastructure. Objectives: optimize and ensure reliable, secure, and compliant OT systems to support production. Responsibilities: manage OT infrastructure including SCADA, BAS, PLCs, Data Historians; advise on best practices for network and hardware resiliency; troubleshoot and maintain automation systems; ensure data integrity and cybersecurity; support system validation, change controls, and compliance with GMP and FDA guidelines; collaborate with IT vendors and engineering teams. Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree; 4+ years in automated manufacturing, preferably GMP; strong knowledge of OT systems (SCADA, PLCs), cybersecurity, and regulatory standards; experience in risk assessments and validation activities. Preferred: GMP manufacturing experience, familiarity with data integrity and industry validation standards. High-value: focus on GMP compliance, data integrity, cyber security, and automation systems within biopharma manufacturing. Work setup: full-time, day shift, occasional travel.
