Operational Excellence Leader: NASD

Role: Lead Operational Excellence initiatives within Agilent’s Nucleic Acid Solutions Division to optimize manufacturing processes from fermentation through downstream recovery and purification, ensuring release-readiness and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: own and deploy production systems across the full value stream, conduct diagnostics, build daily management routines, lead kaizen events targeting yield and cycle-time improvements, translate business strategies into shop-floor actions, develop KPI scorecards, leverage digital tools for real-time process monitoring, and mentor teams in lean and structured problem-solving. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s in life sciences, chemical, engineering, or related fields; 10+ years in GMP manufacturing, with at least 8 years' hands-on lean leadership focusing on process performance; proven experience deploying and sustaining production systems like Lean, TPS, or DBS, with measurable results. Preferred: experience in biologics or pharmaceutical tech transfer, process validation, or new product introductions; certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies. High-Value: biological therapeutics manufacturing, GMP regulation, process optimization, tech transfer, and scale-up from clinical to commercial production. Collaboration: works closely with site leadership, quality, manufacturing, and enterprise teams; reports within the operational excellence function. WorkSetup: US-based, with travel up to 50% to Colorado facilities and broader ATD sites; option for remote work.
