Operational Excellence Leader: NASD

Role: Operational Excellence Lead for biopharma manufacturing at Agilent’s Nucleic Acid Solutions Division, focusing on building and sustaining production systems across the full Make value stream for therapeutic oligonucleotide production. Responsibilities: lead site-wide deployment of lean manufacturing principles, establish daily management routines, lead kaizen events to improve yield and cycle time, translate business goals into operational priorities, connect process performance to business outcomes, utilize shop-floor data and digital tools, coach team members in problem-solving, and ensure standardization and transfer of best practices across sites. Qualifications: bachelor’s or master’s in life sciences, chemical, or biochemical engineering; 10+ years GMP manufacturing experience with at least 8 years in lean process improvement; proven track record in deploying and sustaining production systems such as Lean, TPS, or DBS; deep expertise in process performance, with experience in biologics or pharmaceutical manufacturing, tech transfer, and validation preferred.
