Operational Excellence Leader: NASD

Role: Lead the deployment and sustainment of operational excellence within Agilent’s Nucleic Acid Solutions Division, focusing on manufacturing therapeutic oligonucleotides from fermentation through downstream recovery and purification. Responsibilities include diagnosing current state, developing deployment roadmaps, building tiered daily management systems, leading kaizen events to improve yield, cycle time, and throughput, and integrating digital tools for real-time process monitoring. The role also involves strategy deployment, overseeing value stream mapping, supporting tech transfer and new product introductions, and coaching site teams in Lean and structured problem-solving. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in life sciences, chemical, or biochemical engineering; 10+ years GMP manufacturing experience with 8+ years in Lean deployment and process performance; proven track record of delivering measurable results in regulated environments. Preferred: experience in biologics or pharmaceutical process validation, tech transfer, or process improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma certifications. High-Value: GMP biologics manufacturing, process optimization, Lean/continuous improvement, tech transfer, and digital analytics integration in a regulated setting. Location: US-based with 50% travel to Colorado sites and broader ATD footprint.
