Operational Excellence Leader: NASD

Role: Operational Excellence Lead within Agilent’s Advanced Therapeutics Division, focusing on building and sustaining manufacturing systems for therapeutic oligonucleotides from fermentation to release at clinical and commercial scales. Responsibilities: lead full value stream deployment, diagnose current operations, develop and execute improvement roadmaps, build tiered daily management and visual systems, lead Kaizen events, drive strategy deployment via Hoshin Kanri, connect operational metrics to business outcomes, leverage shop-floor data and digital tools, coach teams in structured problem-solving, and standardize processes for tech transfer and new product launches. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s in life sciences, chemical, biochemical, or engineering fields; 10+ years GMP manufacturing experience, with at least 8+ years in lean process improvement; proven success in deploying and sustaining production systems such as Lean, TPS, or DBS; extensive experience in process performance, GMP biotech/pharma manufacturing, and process validation. Preferred: Lean or Six Sigma certification, experience in biologics or pharmaceuticals, and familiarity with tech transfer. Location: US-based with significant travel (~50%) to facilities in Colorado and across the ATD footprint. This is a full-time, remote-friendly role requiring hands-on leadership in manufacturing operations.
