Role Summary

Operational Design Analytics, Manager. Join Amgen’s Mission of Serving Patients. This role is part of the Operational Design Analytics Team within Clinical Program Operations and focuses on driving data-driven approaches to support clinical trials and operational planning.

Responsibilities

• Surface feasibility parameters and clinical trial metadata in partnership with the ODA Senior Team.
• Use internal data and predictive analytics to inform study planning and placement decisions.
• Collate global site performance data to inform geographic footprint recommendations.
• Identify potential enrollment challenges by evaluating how eligibility criteria affect recruitment and trial durations.
• Harmonize and master diverse data sources for study planning and predictive modeling.
• Collaborate to curate training datasets for machine learning applications.
• Apply REM data insights to support Diversity Action Plan targets and mitigation plans.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree; or Master‚Äôs degree with 2 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor‚Äôs degree with 4 years of relevant experience; or Associate degree with 8 years; or High school diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS/BSc in sciences or RN.
  • 9 years in life sciences or medically related field, including 6 years in biopharmaceutical clinical development.
  • Experience maximizing data and analytics to inform clinical trial planning.
  • Experience with clinical data sources and a fit-for-purpose approach to applying them.
  • Ability to integrate and synthesize data for operational planning and data-driven decision making.
  • Understanding of how data and analytics inform study design and operational planning.
