Responsibilities:
- Implement marketing/brand strategy and deploy resources to key customers.
- Develop strategies to achieve sales and product positioning goals within target accounts.
- Provide on-label clinical data to support appropriate product use.
- Build relationships with high-level decision makers and influential groups.
- Create account-specific business plans and use targeted marketing materials to educate stakeholders.
- Provide real-time market analysis to Home Office to develop targeted strategies/materials.
- Drive field execution (calls per day, reach targets) to increase sales.
- Maintain product knowledge, disease-state expertise, and understanding of industry/competitive landscape.
- Analyze data and prepare materials for business reviews.
- Serve as technical/functional subject matter resource; continue skill development.
- Complete accurate reporting (territory action plan, expense reports, itinerary, sample inventory, speaker requests, budget tracking).
- Report adverse events related to products in a timely, compliant manner.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years pharmaceutical experience.
- Oncology/rare disease/specialty sales preferred.
- Strong presentation/communication; scientific knowledge to communicate compliantly with medical professionals.
- Strong computer/technical skills to analyze territory data.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Preferred: oncology/rare disease/specialty experience; established local relationships; large account management (oncology community practices, academic/NCI/NCCN).
Travel: 20–40% (Charleston, WV territory).
Training: Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; during training may be non-exempt/eligible for overtime; after passing exams, transitioned to exempt.
