Role Summary

This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Claremont, Brooksville and the surrounding area. The Oncology Sales Specialist will deliver sales performance and promote products within the oncology, hematology or rare disease portfolio. The role requires commercial insight, curiosity, continuous learning, leadership among peers, customer-focused thinking, and adoption of digital tools to leverage customer and data insights in competitive markets.

Responsibilities

  • Drive competitive sales growth
  • Personalize and orchestrate customer interactions for target HCPs by reflecting customer preferences, using available content, and leveraging multiple interaction channels
  • Establish long-term, ongoing partnerships with HCPs
  • Provide a memorable, customer-centric experience by listening to customer needs and understanding their healthcare environment
  • Create, dynamically prioritize, and adjust regional, account, and customer interaction plans using available data sources
  • Share customer insights with internal stakeholders to support content, activities, and interactions related to products and indications
  • Create value for customers and patients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions addressing unmet customer and patient needs
  • Act with integrity and honesty, engage transparently and respectfully with customers and colleagues, and speak up when something doesn't feel right; adhere to Novartis ethics, values, and Code of Conduct

Qualifications

  • Required: Experience in sales or customer-facing roles within healthcare or related industries
  • Preferred: Knowledge of oncology, hematology, or rare disease portfolios; field-based pharmaceutical experience
