Oncology Sales Specialist

Key Responsibilities Include (but may not be limited to):
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge to create compelling product value rationales; contrast, compare, and position company brands vs. competition in discussions with HCP customers, and know when/how to seek and provide additional information.
- Act as primary point of contact for customers; meet with key customers/personnel to understand practice structure, business model, and key influencers.
- Possess knowledge of cancer staging, treatment options, and dosing schedules across tumors/diseases, including patient impact; understand and apply knowledge of clinical trials across multiple tumor types/therapies and how this affects promoted products and account behavior.
- Analyze and identify trends in complex buying environments, including drug distribution channels, Oncology GPOs, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies; evaluate purchasing/prescribing patterns (e.g., outpatient vs. inpatient infusion, hospital contract).
- Understand complex account interdependencies to develop short- and long-term account plans with stakeholders; proactively work with the account team and supervisor (Customer Team Leader) to execute the account plan; share learnings/best practices across customers.
- Influence beyond geography/product area by asking strategic, insightful questions to obtain oncology account stakeholder needs; use insights to position company oncology brands and collaborate on customized strategy.
- Collaborate and communicate with extended in-scope customer team to ensure consistent customer experience; coordinate with Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate, Medicare Account Executive, and other stakeholders.

Territory / Travel:
- Field-based sales position covering Boise, Idaho โ€“ Spokane, Washington territory.
- Candidate must reside within the territory.
- Overnight travel may be required about 25% of the time.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree with 8 years sales experience OR high school diploma with at least 10 years equivalent experience.
- Equivalent experience may include: professional sales; healthcare/scientific experience (pharmaceutical/biotech/medical devices) not sales related; professional marketing; or military experience.
- 2+ years oncology field sales experience.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; ability to drive a motor vehicle.
- Travel as required by the role.
- Reside within the assigned territory.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Documented history of strong performance in a sales/marketing or oncology clinical role.
