Role Summary

Oncology Reimbursement Manager – Chicago, IL/Minneapolis, MN. The Oncology Reimbursement Manager supports Physician offices in obtaining appropriate reimbursement and supports the company and divisional reimbursement strategy for Regeneron products within various payer segments.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with multiple field teams to act as Reimbursement/Payer Subject Matter Expert in efforts to support the healthcare provider segment.
  • Provide reimbursement support services to educate physician offices on payer policies, billing and coding, and Regeneron Patient & Practice services to streamline reimbursement processes.
  • Establish relationships with targeted healthcare provider offices to assist with prior authorization and reimbursement issues in compliance with Regeneron policies and procedures.
  • Assist providers in identifying claims and coding issues and provide guidance on claims appeal processes within provider offices.
  • Remain acutely aware of reimbursement requirements and changes to policies set by federal/state governments and managed care organizations.
  • Be flexible to anticipate and adapt to reimbursement and support needs, as well as market changes and challenges.
  • Build foundational relationships within payer segments to ensure product education and overall product support.
  • Identify payer trends through payer, provider and field collaboration.
  • Analyze data to provide appropriate account and sales force education.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree; five years of field reimbursement experience.
  • Preferred: Buy and Bill market experience; Oncology experience.
